Researchers working at CERN seem to take more seriously a theory that says UFOs are stopping them from having successful experiments and discovering the God Particle. The Large Hadron Collider is the world’s largest particle accelerator found at 100m underground, near Geneva. It is actually an instrument used by physicists that are trying to find the answers for the most fundamental questions in physics, regarding the laws of nature.

According to the European Organization for Nuclear Research, inside the circular accelerator “two beams of subatomic particles called “hadrons” – either protons or lead ions – travel in opposite directions, gaining energy with every lap”. Besides the particles created in the collisions, scientists are interested in the invisible matter that got infiltrated in our galaxy.
Scientists believe that UFOs are affecting their experiments. However, these UFOs are very small and do not come from outer space. They are probably microscopical particles of dust with unknown origin. However, Tobia Baer, a physicist that works with the LHC, said that they would conduct some research to see what this phenomenon is about. Researchers claim that they witnessed over 10.000 possible events involving UFOs during collisions between protons. These events took place between April and August this year.
Some of the physicists think that these UFOs had affected the protons, preventing them from reaching the desired energy and that sometimes the beams were even stopped. A possible source of the UFOs might be some special magnets that are part of the LHC structure, called MKI. Researchers are going to look into these issues, see what is causing them and fix what needs to be fixed.
