So far, as you probably already know, Samsung has been using Android for its tablets and according to recent reports the company intends to start using Windows as well.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Samsung is going make an announcement about this at the conference for Microsoft developers that will be held in California this week. Having had released its first tablet, the Galaxy Tab, back in 2010, Samsung had to remake the tablet as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 after more than 1 in 10 buyers returned the device in less than a month from its purchase.
The company seems to have had some difficult time with this device if we take into account the fact that the tablet was banned for sale in Germany. It’s still available in the rest of Europe.
Microsoft will probably show off a new version of the operating system for tablets at the above mentioned conference as Reuters reports. We can only wait and see what this conference will bring and hopefully we will find more about Samsung’s plans related to their tablet operating system.
