The new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, one of the best smartphones available to date, is finally available at Verizon. Only a few devices, including Samsung Galaxy Nexus, have 4G LTE capabilities.
Being a smartphone that attracts many costumers, the available option should be greatly embraced: if a two-year contract with Big Red is acquired, then a costumer can have this amazing smartphone for $299.99. Current data plans required cost $20. If the costumer does not want to sign a contract, the remaining option is to pay around $650 for this new handset. Nevertheless, the price tag seems fair compared to the one in theUK.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus can be ordered online from the Verizon website; it can also be bought from all the carrier stores in theUS. This smartphone is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, it features a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, has embedded dual-core processor running at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM memory, a 5 megapixel camera capable of capturing videos with 1080p, a secondary 1.3 megapixel front camera with 720p video capabilities and, of course, the 4G LTE support.
Being powered by the latest Android operating system, this smartphone has amazing displays (1280 x 720) and thanks to the optimization of TI OMAP 4460 CPU it grants magnificent surfing speeds (through files, folders, web, and various applications).
Featuring a new internet browser, the Galaxy Nexus reaches high speeds, even higher now that 4G LTE network adds to the experience.
It seems this smartphone is the first to run on Ice Cream Sandwich, which includes various new features, such as Face Unlock (unlock the smartphone by using the front camera), the Android Beam (a new option capable of sharing various content like videos, applications, mp3-s, photos and more). The Android Beam can only be used between smarphones that have NFC capabilities and that run on Android 4.0.
The version available at Verizon comes with a 32GM microSD designated to store all the data, which should do the job for most costumers.
