When it comes to technology, one cannot say that one has seen it all. Just check this post as well as the video below to see that indeed technology keeps on surprising us. There’s almost no week going by without a new phone/robot/machine concept. Developers, engineers and inventors come up with all kinds of concepts of devices that would improve our lives.
Recently, Nokia Research Special has come up with a phone concept that points to a device with a fish-like look. This phone concept is known as HumanForm and as Nokia says it is a “visionary solution to beyond touchscreen and voice communication where technology becomes invisible and intuition takes over”.
The company adds that HumanForm is “a redefined phone where interactions become natural and convey human emotions.” This humanized phone has a flexible structure that makes it feel and be shaped like a jellyfish. It can be physically manipulated so that it can suit to everyone’s ear shape. This is the reason why it is called HumanForm.
Besides this, HumanForm brings a bendable transparent display, something you might want to get your hands on. The gesture interaction will make your phone experience reach a whole new level. You’ll just have to shake the phone to go back to the menu if you’re running an application for instance.
The case the phone comes up with is totally touch sensitive as you ca see in the video. Just twist it in order to browse and if you need to zoom, then you’ll just have to blend it. HumanForm doesn’t only come in a unique body and shape but it will also offer an entirely new calling experience.
Just imagine HumanForm comes with mood recognition. Moreover, the phone is said to allow users to feel the image as you can see in the video below. We don’t know yet if something like this will go from the concept phase to becoming a real product. Even so, we can only be thankful to those from Nokia Research Center for coming up with such a concept. Enjoy the video below and see what we’re talking about!
