At the Las Vegas CES 2012, lots of new pieces of technology were unveiled. One of those is the Nokia Lumia 900, announced at the Nokia press conference that took place at CES 2012.
As the full specs of this device were made official, it is the right time to confront the rumors. First of all, the rumors that Nokia Lumia 900 is a bigger Lumia 800 seem to be true. Secondly, the speculations according to which Nokia Lumia 900 will feature a metallic body were wrong, given that the official presentation shows a polycarbonate unibody.

The new Nokia Lumia 900 is powered (as expected) by Windows Phone operating system, and it seems that the device will first be available in theUnited Statesat AT&T. The new Lumia flagship features 4.3 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, capable of processing 16M colors at an 800×480 resolution, becoming the biggest Lumia smartphone. The device comes with 4G LTE technology, 21 Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi capabilities, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.1.
Given that Windows Phone Mango operating system has some certain limitations, the new Lumia device features only a single-core processor, but the manufacturer ensured any potential costumers that Lumia 900’s performance will be better than expected.
Nokia Lumia 900 (known as Ace) features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.4GHz processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 16GB or internal storage and 512MB or RAM memory.
The Carl Zeiss camera is 8MP, featuring dual LED flash and video recordings up to 720p HD at 30 frames per second. The secondary camera, used for video calling, has 1MP sensor.
The whole device is powered by an 1840 Li-Ion battery which should provide 300 hours of standby and 7 hours of talk time, as stated by Nokia. Nokia Lumia 900 is basically 80% Nokia Lumia 800 with some additional features that should ensure the success of this Nokia flagship.
