Well, since we are all so anxious for the devices to be released, we cannot ignore the rumors related to them. So, today we’ll talk about what the latest rumors say about iPad 3.
Most probably, Apple’s device will be launched somewhere at the beginning of 2012. Till then we can only speculate on the features the tablet will come up with. So, the latest rumor has it that the device will be thinner and lighter and that’s due to an improved battery pack.
The iPad 2 is very thin (0.34-inches) and if Apple’s next iPad is thinner, then we can only wait for it even more anxiously. According to sources, there are two suppliers of Macbook and iPad batteries ready to start the production of the new battery pack for iPad 3 in the last quarter of 2011.
These two suppliers are Dynapack International Technology Corp. and Simplo.Technology.Co and the new batteries will not only make the iPad 3 lighter and thinner but will improve the battery life as well. This means that the price for iPad 3 may get even higher but we can only speculate on that since we have no certainty that the iPad will actually come in a thinner and lighter body.
