So, this means that it will be easier for you to manage the groups you want to get updates from and to share your posts with.
The Smarts Lists and suggestions will help you organize your best friends, work friends and family members in a more appropriate way. Facebook will also suggest you friends that you might want to add to one of these lists.
Thanks to the Close Friends list, you will have the possibility to receive notifications when one of your best friends posts something new. If there are people in your list you don’t want to see all the updates from, then you’ll just have to add them to the Acquaintances List and you’ll only get to see their most important updates.
You surely have some friends that you don’t want to delete but don’t want to share something with either. In this case, the Restricted List is the one you need. Add your friend to that list and he/she will see only your public posts. Using these lists will make it easier for you to have a better control over what you see and over who sees your posts. You will also have the possibility to choose the friends you want to share something with.

With improved Friend Lists, you can easily see updates from and share with different lists of friends. Lists have existed for several years, but you’ve told us how time-consuming it is to organize lists for different parts of your life and keep them up to date.”
