HTC has released the company’s earnings report which shows what a successful Q3 the Taiwanese company has had. According to the report, HTC’s net income reached about $624.6 million in the third quarter of this year. This means that HTC has increased its net income with 68% comparing to the thid quarter of the 2010.
In other words, HT has managed to sell in Q3 2011 13. 2 million smartphones. That is 93% more than in Q3 2010. Still, the company is cautious when it comes to the earnings of the last quarter of this year. HTC expects to sell between 12 and 13 million units in Q4 2011.
The devices that are believed to keep HTC on the same line in the following months are HTC Titan and HTC Sensation. The strongest growth the company saw has been in China where sales have increased significantly.
One of the Taiwanese comany’s statements say that:
“HTC’s diverse product offerings, expanded distribution network and growing global brand recognition, have helped the company deliver a quarterly revenue of NT$135.82bn in the third quarter of 2011, resulting in after-tax earnings of NT$18.68bn and EPS of NT$22.07. “
