By A new Harry Potter movie will always bring along a new series of branded products. A new Harry Potter movie will always make a lot of money for anybody who makes branded products of the teenage wizard. This is normally not the sort that attracts my interest but seeing how the marketers at Buffalo are preparing for the new film launch changes things.
With no more than two weeks away from the launch of the new Harry Potter movie Buffalo announced a Harry Potter branded product. Happily though, it’s a portable hard disk drive. The new Harry Potter branded Hard Disk Drive done by Buffalo doesn’t offer any significant performance for the industry but it’s not to be slacked off.

For starters, the Harry Potter Portable Hard Disk Drive will have a nice, slick case, and will offer either 500 GB or 1 TB of storage space via USB. The HD-LBU2/Hpx6 will be the tag name of the 500 GB unit and it will be of reasonably small dimensions at just 77 × 14 × 114mm and an even smaller weight of 165g. The 1 TB Harry Potter storage unit will be on a different scale though. The HD-LBU2/Hpx6 tagged unit will be on a different level as it’s substantially bigger and weighs in at no less than 1 kg.
The best part about the Buffalo Harry Potter Portable HDD unit is the fact that you’ll get the six Harry Potter Movies written in already. Naturally they’ll be protected and such but it’s a great sales trick to have.
As far as pricing is concerned for these Harry Potter portable HDDs you’ll have to wait until the movie is released or even more.
