By Since we’re officially in the same week and less than two days away from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V‘s first video trailer it probably isn’t a bad idea to have a quick run through the rumors associated with the game.
Rockstar’s latest installment in the ever popular Grand Theft Auto franchise will most likely turn up in 2012, probably sometime in the fall.
Getting on to the GTA V rumor section, there’s plenty about, not many of which having to do with the graphics, the system requirements or anything of the likes.
Instead of the system requirements which are very easy to prove or disprove, the GTA V rumors refer to the gameplay, the game setting and, of course, the storyline.
First of all, the character you play. At the moment there are two versions, the first being that you’ll have a choice of five, something Grand Theft Auto never put on the table.
The second version would be to introduce another change in character style, bringing a hispanic called Adrian to the mix.
This situation would bring some political correctness to GTA V, something the series isn’t exactly known for.
Something less concerned about policy that’s being rumored at the moment is that the gang turf wars are making a comeback together with all the goodies that implies, including graffiti.
The action of GTA V is very likely to take place in Los Santos (a mockup of Los Angeles) with the start of the game offering up some memories from GTA: San Andreas.
Other things “from the past” that come back to Grand Theft Auto V include, parachutes, car modding (hydraulics included, of course) and the military action as part of the wanted level.
Speaking of people who haven’t fought off the military, Niko Bellic might get another chance as the man may end up making a return to the story.
Added bonuses for GTA V come in the form of more girlfriend options, the return of cheat codes that are absurdly fun.
Finally, what we’re seriously hoping for has been promised as Grand Theft Auto V is rumored to come with some proper optimization for PC users so that aspect won’t be as disappointed as they’ve been with the previous game.
