By Good news for all those interested in photography and taking pictures: Pentax has just released a new camera that is part of its Optio series and is known as RZ18. With a 18x optical zoom, the camera comes with some great features and will be available from October for £199.99.
Optio RZ18 comes with dual shake reduction to help you capture memorable moments without any blur. The Auto Picture mode will detect the most appropriate shooting mode in order for you to take pictures the best way possible. Other features include a 3.0 inch 460k dot LCD screen, 18x optical zoom lens that will give you the possibility of macro shooting from a 4 centimetres distance and a 16 MP sensor.
The Digital Panorama mode will enable you to use three images, combine then and thus create a panorama. The RZ18 also comes with 16 automatic shooting modes that include Pet, Sunset and Sky. Using the surrounding conditions and light, the camera will help you use the best shooting mode.
You will also be able to video record at 720p and to choose from the three images sizes: 4:3, 16:9 and 1:1. The camera offers you the possibility to create visual effects by using the Miniature and Toy Camera digital filters.
