It seems like these days there’s a lot of important stuff going on in the gaming world that focus more or less on Blizzard’s creations.
We’ve got a firm grasp on the most recent of developments regarding Diablo III and how they let go of rumors regarding stopping the launch of DotA 2.
The latest Blizzard bit of today’s news is downright awesome because it could be an unofficial naming release for the future World of Warcraft.
It’s not like World of Warcraft is the sort of game that is lacking interest but a new version will most likely put the fear of god into the developers of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Pending a new trademark from Blizzard we find that the next version of WoW could be called Mists of Pandaria.
There’s very little chance that an upcoming new version of another of their franchise, Warcraft, is to wear the Mists of Pandaria name tag since Blizzard never made a habit out of working on too many things at once.
Whatever it really is happening, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, despite a few shortfalls is an incredibly complete MMO so giving the Pandaren race a more important role would only contribute to the fascination.
It’s still going to be some considerable time before we get confirmation from Blizzard on this, if we do by the time the game is ready.
The only proof we have regarding Mists of Pandaria being an actual part of World of Warcraft is that the trademark Blizzard registered with something called “International Class 009″.
This sort of registration only seems to appear on Blizzard’s online specific products.
