You see, this may be difficult to follow or understand if you’re a complete gadget or tech freak. Sometimes, economy gets in the way of funding this sort of projects and this is just what happened with Mega Hurtz.
Mega Hurtz is a robotics project that was created by its inventor with a military application in mind. As often the way with this sort of garage project, some hurdles have to be overcome.
One of the biggest issues the creator of Mega Hurtz, Mr. Chris Roger, has is getting the final application of this project completed. In order to get funding so that he can keep on chasing his dream of making Mega Hurtz the best life saver of the battle field he turned to the Internet.
He hopes that by attracting enough attention to his “army” people would be more willing to pay some sort of money for his plans, schemes or even for some robot kits that are similar to Mega Hurtz.
Trouble is, on the Internet simple robots went out of fashion years and years ago, it’s all about gadgets now. That’s why the inventor of Mega Hurtz stuck a paintball gun on the top of his creation thus turning it from a military application device into a total gadget.
Imagine a remote controlled paintball gun with which you can hit your colleagues at work. Or your neighbours. Or their dogs.
Perhaps this isn’t what Mega Hurtz is meant to do, perhaps the gadget effect is just a front for many other things but that hasn’t stopped me from wanting one.
I think the Mega Hurtz robot has great promise but then I think the Mega Hurtz paintball gadget offers even more right now.
Apart from the paintball gun the Mega Hurtz platform incorporates a video stream to the user, night vision and thermal imaging. Just imagine how much fun you can have with those accesories on your RC Mega Hurtz.
Even the name of the Mega Hurtz sounds like something more gadget-like than what the military use.
