LG finally launched their 10.1 inch tablet in Korea.
I’m not sure as to why LG chose to launch their iPad rival in Korea but there you go. The new LG tablet runs Windows 7 for an operating system and is named the E-Note H1000B.
The LG E-Note H1000B technical specs are about the same as the 16 Gb iPad has to offer but the price is said to be substantially lower.
The Windows 7 powered LG tablet has a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen and Intel Atom Processor. Apart from that LG offers 1 GB of RAM, an SSD storage unit with 16 GB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an SD card reader and two USB 2.0 ports.
While the LG E-Note H1000B does have the option between two processors and a slightly bigger screen than the iPad it’s lacking in a few areas.
LG’s tablet doesn’t have a camera and comes with the Windows 7 Starter edition. The Windows 7 starter edition is possibly the worst of the lot.
Happily, the LG 10 inch tablet does come with an upgrade option for Windows 7 Professional which should make quite a difference.
To sum up then, LG came up with a great new 10 inch tablet that offers options and costs less while Apple’s iPad doesn’t give you much choice but is better and pricier.
At the end of the day it’s your choice.
