The feature is named Photo Session and it allows you to view your favorite photos with your friends and to chat about them in real time. The photos will be uploaded to a set and thus you and your friends will view them and also comment on them.
Moreover, when you move to a photo, all your friends will move. The picture is the focus of the interface but there will be a chat interface as well where you and your friends will be able to say something about the photo, to add a comment or to tell the story of that photo.
Photo Session also allows you to sketch on the top of the photo and thus point out certain things or people.What’s great about this feature is that it is available for desktop, iPhone and iPad.
It seems that Yahoo is trying to keep Flickr on a relevant position in the photo-sharing space taking into account the great dominance of Facebook and Google+. Photo Session is definitely a great way to browse the photos you’ve just taken in your holiday with your friends!
