FBI wanted level raised against LulzSec

Notorious hacker group LulzSec has been having a blast recently and while we enjoy how they’ve been acting out, the FBI isn’t.

The law enforcement agency is aware of LulzSec’s plans to soon retire so they just announced an increased level of concentration on this “problem”.

Apart from officially raising the wanted level for the “Internet baddies” the Federal Bureau of Investigation don’t really have much to report on their progress.

Despite an FBI raid on his house and the questioning of Iowa resident Laurelai Bailey for more than five hours, confiscation of her equipment they came up with something almost worthless.

Bailey admitted to the FBI that she had participated in a chat with members of LulzSec but that she is not in any way a part of the hacker’s organization.

It’s not like they hate Bailey for no reason, the FBI was simply following a lead that identified her as a member of LulzSec.

It’s quite the embarrassing situation for the FBI but there is a considerable chance that LulzSec keeps on raiding important websites such as the one of NATO, the U.S. Senate and some of the high profile media ones such as PBS.

The real problem is not within the attacks, the problem would turn up when LulzSec breaks up and goes off the grid. At that point it would be almost impossible for the FBI to track them anymore.
