Because Facebook will now allow its users not only to share songs and videos but cash as well. How is that possible? Well, PayPal has just come up with the Send Money app. Another reason for you to give Facebook more of your time.
With Send Money, people and businesses will have the possibility to share money within the social network. Thus, whenever one of your friends celebrates his/her birthday, gets a promotion and so on, you will be able to share an ecard on his/her wall and send him/her money as well via PayPal.
Well, the ecard is just symbolic and if you’re not interested in this but only in the cash, then you can send your friend/family member some money without the ecard sharing thing.
Taking into account the great number of Facebook users as well as the fact that many of them are active PayPal members, then this move is not only smart but also the right one. Yes, you might say that an ecard is not the most thoughtful gift. But if you’re far away from your friend and you cannot meet him/her to give him/her something, then this comes up as the perfect way of wishing your friend the best.
In the case of businesses, the whole Send Money thing is quite a deal. Besides the fact that businesses can build customer relationships, they can now benefit even more from using Send Money.
For instance, if there are customers who have to receive refunds or who want to return some goods they purchased, can now use PayPal and Facebook to solve this. Moreover, businesses will now have the possibility to transfer funds to customers for rebates via Send Money.
