Doxie has just brought up its latest portable scanner this week. Named Doxie Go, the device will help you scan all the documents and you don’t even need a computer. Doxie go is a wireless scanner that you can take wherever you go since it’s more than portable.
You can use Doxi Go both for scanning and creating searchable PDFs as well as for sending these to the cloud with the help of Dropbox and Evernote. Doxie Go can be used to store up to 600 pages and scan them but if you’re in need of more space, then you will just have to use a SD card or USB flash drive. Just insert it and there you go.
It takes only 8 seconds for Doxie Go to scan full-color pages. The device will syncronise to iPad, Mac, PC and iPhone and thus have a similar performance like any digital camera that uses the Doxie software and apps.
The device packs a built-in lithium-ion battery and needs 2 hours to charge. On a single charge 100 pages can be scanned. Doxie Go measures 26.7 cm x 4.35 cm x 5.6 cm) and weighs 403 grams. You can pre-order Doxie Go and pay $199 but you’ll get the scanner somewhere at the end of November or beginning of December.
