Motorola makes some decently interesting smartphones but for some reason, their efforts are often less than enough to come up with a winning product.
Motorola’s smartphones seem to be fitting nicely in the business and the Droid Pro is quite the competitor.
With the Mobile World Congress going underway in Barcelona, the American company tried to make the Droid Pro feel more at home on the old continent.
The changes aren’t significant in terms of design but the technology is advertised as ideal for a business environment.
The Motorola Droid Pro comes in with a 3.1 inch HGVA touchscreen display that shares the front of the smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard.
In fairness, the look of the Euro-spec Motorola Droid Pro is very business like as there’s a conformity feel to its aspect.
The smartphone capabilities of the Motorola Droid Pro are nicely highlighted by the video above and yet it’s so fascinating.
I may be aging ahead of time but somehow I love the packaging Motorola delivers within the gadget of the Droid Pro.
Here’s the really annoying deal though. The Motorola Droid Pro offers some nice packaging and some nice specs but they’re not the best available.
Motorola Droid Pro Euro specs:
Android 2.2 OS – 2.3 has been around for quite some time now.
1 GHz Processor – 1.3 or dual core is available already.
2 GB internal memory and expandable external memory with SD card up to another 32 GB – pretty decent but again missing the mark in terms of internal storage.
Conclusion:
The so called Euro-spec Motorola Droid Pro is just that, a so called. In reality it’s a lightly updated version of the regular Motorola Droid Pro.
Not only that, the Motorola Droid Pro isn’t a class leader even in this form which is rather sad.
The Motorola Droid Pro at least looks as if it’s less of a fashion accessory than the iPhone though.
