The debate on whether or not 3D is or is not the future is probably going to rage on for years and years.
At the moment though, one thing is certain about 3D technology, it’s the thing to have, so why not add it to everything you have.
While adding 3D to your microwave and dish washer may seem a bit excessive, the folks at LG consider adding it to your smartphone is just about right. This is why, courtesy of AT&T, LG started offering the 4G Thrill.
Don’t think it’s some sort of thrill-seeker smartphone that’s invincible like some iPhones, it’s actually the name it carries, the LG Thrill 4G.
According to the press release, the LG Thrill 4G is a smartphone that’s designed with 3D technology in mind and even works without requiring the stupid 3D glasses.
The really impressive part of the 3D capabilities of the LG Thrill 4G smartphone is that they aren’t limited to the screen. LG’s latest toy can also take pictures and even film in 3D too.
Courtesy of a 5MP stereoscopic camera and its impressive hardware, the LG Thrill 4G can not only share 3D material but also create it.
In coping with such a serious set of tasks the LG Thrill 4G uses some capable hardware all of which centers around a dual-core Tegra 1Ghz processor and 8Gb of internal storage.
Couple all this stuff with a glorious 4.3 inch auto-stereoscopic display and Android 2.2 (or 2.3 later) and you’ve got yourself one heck of a smartphone.
I’m telling you, the LG Thrill 4G is so desirable right now that all early adopters of 3D will forget it’s actually a 3D version of the LG Optimus underneath.
