Apple iPhone 5 is Missing Out on the NFC

I didn’t have the best of mornings today but I was at the point going to talk a little about the Apple iPad 2, the sales figures it achieved and its early problems.

But then I realized that the Apple iPad 2 is already sold out for the moment and nobody is interested in getting another one right now because of its problems displaying black screens.

Instead, I’ve decided on focusing on a more interesting situation of the iPhone’s next generation.

As it happens the Apple iPhone 5 will not be receiving NFC technology. That seems just like Apple’s product strategy once again shined through.

Near Field Communication is probably going to be a big part of shopping and travelling in the future because it eliminates the need to have cash around in none of the currencies you may encounter.

I’m not certain that NFC is really going to take off that soon but the Japanese have really managed to get around to spreading its usage.

That’s not really the point. My problem is with how Apple is always advertising their iPhone about how high tech it is and at they refuse to have something like this on it.

I just can’t wait to see presentations for the iPhone 5 with Steve Jobs running around telling us about how its changing everything.

Sadly, this news isn’t confirmed by Apple’s shiny marketers but we were given this information by some UK mobile phone carriers.

I guess they are just as reliable since Apple’s iPhone 5 (no NFC included) would be sold there as one of their first markets.

Just In case I feel like getting some apology requests, the lack of an NFC chip in the iPhone 5 may actually not be a problem with how Apple keeps technology on hold for customers.

It seems there’s a bit of a problem with how NFC isn’t well and truly standardized at this point and they don’t want to take a chance.
