The first image of BlackBerry Milan (the new generation BlackBerry 10) surely gives a lot of insight regarding hardware and software features of the next generation of BlackBerry 10. Recent leaked information suggested a couple of probable codenames such as BlackBerry London, Nevada,MilanandLisbon. Even though the information was lacking details, this all changed with the appearance of the BlackBerry Milan photo, which can answer some questions regarding the capabilities of this particular phone.
Although there are no official specs regarding the new phone, a further inspection of the photo can certainly give away satisfying information related to BlackBerry 10’s capabilities, functions, and more.

The first feature that attracts attention is the slider embedded with the traditional keyboard that all BlackBerry users are familiar with. It is also said that the new phone supports amazing resolution displays – actually higher pixel density in comparison with iPhone’s retina display which should attract fans in acquiring such a mobile phone. Features similar to PlayBook tablet are also available, with sharper edges similar to BlackBerry London. Given that these are not the final designs; some more changes may take place before this phone hits the market in 2012.
Further investigation of the photo shows that the optical trackpad is completely gone, the traditional hang-up, menu, call and other buttons are also excluded from the new design, expecting a similar experience to the one PlayBook tablet currently offers. With these old features gone, it can be assumed that the touchscreen will incorporate them, giving a modern user interface, one that is expected from a new generation of smartphones.
With both keyboard and touchscreen, BlackBerry Milan will certainly offer a mix between traditional and modern experience, probably making this product one of the first choices when it comes to mobile phones as soon as it becomes available in 2012.
