Even though official numbers are not provided at this point by AT&T carrier regarding the iPhones sold in the last couple of months, some analysts suggest that Apple’s sales are growing considerably and a record is to be expected soon enough.
Current estimates count around 30 million smartphones to be sold by Apple in the next three months alone, mainly because of the fact that iPhone demands are high all around the globe. At this point it seems that the most purchased iPhones are 3GS, 4 and the new 4S. AT&T carrier sold around one million iPhone 4S devices in the first week alone, while Apple sold a total of four million devices in the first three days, breaking the record hold by last year’s iPhone 4.

With the high demand for iPhone devices, analysts believe that the iPad should see fewer costumers in the months to come, expecting around 12 million Apple tablets to be sold in the next quarter. The reason behind the lower expectations regarding the iPad near-future sales is primarily the economic pressure costumers still experience and so costumers are to buy the device with the most functionality, rather than acquiring multiple iDevices in short periods of time.
iPhone sales should increase exponentially in the next quarter simply because of the new iPhone 4S and its improved functions and, of course, because the lower price of iPhone 4 ($99) that is certain to attract more and more costumers. As for the tablets, Apple could release a new device – iPad 3 – next year in order to increase the sales on that front and making a good profit as well as breaking new records regarding the sales of iDevices.
