When it comes to talking about the new iPhone 4, the first thing to announce is that it will be available on 24th June in both white and black colors and with two versions, one of 16GB of built-in storage at $199 and the other of 32GB at $299, each of them with a two year service agreement with AT&T.
This new model has useful improvements like a second camera, that can record HD and allows video calls but just through Wi-Fi connection for the moment. Also, the processor was updated to A4 (1 Ghz) from ARM Cortx 600 MHz.
The phone supports 4G data transmission, which is faster than the 3G standard, but currently not available widely and is nearly three-quarters thinner than the iPhone 3GS. Besides all this, iPhone 4 has better resolution, well improved if we compare it with the precedent versions: 960×640 (practically four times more pixels per inch).
On the side are three slits that are part of its antenna system. The antennas built right into the phone handle Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and cellphone connections. Videos can be edited right from the phone through iMovie, an application that can be purchased from App Store for only a few dollars.
In San Francisco at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2010, Steve Jobs announced that Netflix movies will be available on the iPhone later this year.
Apple has often used conferences to launch new products and this time Jobs mentioned that the company is selling about three iPads per second. Since the product has launched on April, 3rd Apple sold more than 2 milion touch-screen tablets.
