3D Games on the New Sharp Galapagos Phones

Softbank network announced two new Sharp Galapagos smart phones called 003SH and 005SH. The phones have 3D autostereoscopic display, which means you can see in 3D without glasses.

They will run on Google’s mobile OS Android 2.2 Froyo powered by a 1Gh Snapdragon CPU. Both phones will have a 3.8 inches display, which is larder than the one Nintendo 3DS has, and will support an 800 x 480 resolution. They also have Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, GPS, 7.2Mbps WCDMA downloads, electronic wallet function, digital TV tuner, the usual Google Apps, and a micro SD slot supporting up to 32 GB.

The 003SH is a touchscreen phone, having a 9.6MP CCD AF camera with 720p video recording, with a size of 121×62×12 mm, weighing 139g. The other one, 005SH, is a sliding phone with QWERTY keyboard and 4-way D-pad, and has an 8MP CMOS camera with 720p video recording.

Moreover, both phones will be released with 3D Capcom games preloaded, including Mega Man, Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Gold Knights, and Resident Evil: Degeneration.

Galapagos 003SH will be released this December, while for the 005SH you will have to wait until February. However, they will only be released in Japan at these dates, and no pricing is currently available.
