By Music fanatics know that their Android phone may have a great processor but don’t have enough space for their music. There’s a method you can use to stream music from your computer to your Android phone though. The name of the tool that will help you do that is Audiogalaxy. Check the guide below to find out what you have to do in order to enjoy all your favorite music on your Android phone:
1. To get started, you will have to go to Audiogalaxy.com and create a new account. If you have a Facebook account (and you surely do), then login with it. You don’t have to worry about Audiogalaxy letting your Facebook friends know about your music activities because it will do so only if you allow it to.
2. After you sign up and access you account, you will have to save the Audiogalaxy Helper app if you use Google Chrome. You will be informed that the Audiogalaxy website is waiting for the app to install.
3. Once the installation is complete, you will see a security warning asking you if you want to run the .exe file or not. Obviosuly, clik Run.
4. Your music directories will now start to be catalogued automatically by Audiogalaxy Helper in your Documents folder. Get to Your Music Folders by right clicking on the system tray icon if you want to select other folders that contain your songs. Click OK after doing this.
5. It will take little till your music will populate the Audiogalaxy website. You will be able to play these files as long as the Audiogalaxy Helper is running.
6. Now if you want to stream music to your Android phone, you will have to get the Audiogalaxy app for Android. All you have to do is to click the Droid icon on the bottom left. After that use a barcode scanner to scan the QR code. Now install the app from the Android Market.
7. After you’ve installed the app, launch it and sign in with the ID you’ve created in step 1. You’ll then get to the songs you want to listen to and you’ve selected from your computer.
8.To search for the songs you selected, just press the Search tab.
9. You can control the song that’s playing by using the Player tab. Go to the Menu button on your phone and access Settings. You have different settings options here. Go for those that suit your preferences. That’s all you have to do! Now you can enjoy your favorite music on your Android phone wherever you are!
