This service is a 15 second video service, which means that you’ll have the possibility to share 15 seconds of a video you record. By using only 15 seconds of it, the video file will be small enough to be uploaded quickly to Tout’s servers for sharing.
The several ways to access its service makes Tout not only fun but easy to use. Tout can be used with Webcams, Android, file uploads and iOS. So, if you’re interested in sharing quick videos, then here’s what you have to do if you go for the mobile version of Tout:
1. To get started, you will have to go to Tout.com and create an account. Create your account with Tout using its Web interface and things will go faster than when making the account through the mobile app.
2. The next thing to do is to associate an e-mail address and password with your account. If you login with your Facebook and Twitter, you’ll save time but in the case of the mobile application it is advisable to use an e-mail login. Now click on My Settings and make sure you plugin your information.
3. If you want to link your Twitter and Facebook accounts, then you’ll have to scroll down on the My Settings page. You’ll find your connection opportunities in the bottom right-hand corner.
4. If you’re one of those people who love to record moments on the go, then this application is just perfect. Make sure you grab the Tout application for your iPhone or Android.
5. The next thing you’ll have to do after you login is to click on the My Icon that you’ll find at the bottom of the page. Then click on the Settings cog that you’ll see in the top-left hand corner. Now mark or leave unmarked the places you want to share new Tout videos.
6. In order to record your 15 seconds video, you’ll have to press the Tout button that’s at the bottom of the application. A countdown will start on the screen when you press the red record button.
7. After your record your 15 seconds video, you will have the possibility to title, tag, review the video, add details and then share it. You can select any contact in your phone book for sharing.
