If you own an Android-powered phone, then you’ve probably heard of the Ice Cream Sandwhich keyboard. You might have seen how this works on Galaxy Nexus or you might just have read about it online. The good news is that you can enjoy the Ice Cream Sandwhich keyboard on your Android phone. It’s quite easy. You just have to follow the steps below and there you go:
1. Get started by going to Android Market. Get the Ice Cream Sandwhich Keyboard app by johntanmi.

2. Now hit the Menu button from your Home Screen and then go to Settings. Once you get there, tap the “Touch the Language & keyboard” option.

3. Make sure that you check the Ice Cream Sandwhich box and hit OK in the next window that opens.

4. Go to the Ice Cream Sandwhich keyboard settings and adjust them as you wish.

5. Check the way the keyboard works by going to one of the apps you can type in like SMS or Gmail. Make sure you press and hold the input area and then select the input method and the ICS keyboard. The blue autocorrect suggestions and punctuation is the mark of ICS.

As the Ice Cream Sandwhich keyboard is in beta and your phone runs a different Android version, some of the features of the keyboard might be a bit buggy but it’s still worth trying it.
