King’s Bounty – Armored Princess

After the release of the first game of the series in 1990 and the second release in 2008, King’s Bounty has become one of the most played tactical RPGs out there. In 2009 the third game, King’s Bounty – Armored Princess, was released by Katuri.

After playing a male character in the 2008 release of King’s Bounty – The Legend, Armored princess gives the player the chance to play a female character.
The protagonist is Princess Amelie and she travels to the world of Teana searching for the legendary Bill Gilbert, a renowned warrior knight.
Teana is filled with new monsters, legendary items and huge bosses, and has the level cap around 60.Also the hero or better said heroine can now choose between a series of pet Dragons, each one with his own special ability and exciting story. As the dragon grows it gains new special abilities and helps the player through the epic quests he has embarked on.
You can choose between 3 classes:  Warrior, Paladin, Mage; each of them having special abilities and bonuses to be discovered through the game.
Another cool thing the guys from Katuri have enveloped into the game is the option to fly on your winged horse. It saves a lot of time exploring and moving from one place to another and also it looks darn good to glide through the mountains and castles.

The graphic chapter has also improved making the world more detailed and realistic. Everything looks just like it is supposed to and this beautiful fantasy world keeps you playing  the game for many hundreds of hours.

The sounds and music are not very different than the ones in The legend, but they give the world a aura of mystery and excitement.
All in all King’s Bounty  - Armored princess looks good, sound’s  good and is addictive as hell, so if you are a fan of RPGs and fantasy adventure games this is the one that will make your nights worthwhile.
