By It is a well-known fact that Diablo III is an action RPG game (role-playing game) produced by Blizzard Entertainment. The game was officially announced on 28th June 2008 and since then has caused lots of rumors about the release date. The publishers are still working on the game since 2001, taking the necessary time to reach their purpose of creating a complex and interesting game meant to attract numerous players.
The story takes place in Sanctuary, a dark, fantastic world that was saved by a few heroes 20 years ago. The warriors who survived the attack of Burning Hells’ army had gone mad and they must be replaced by a new generation of heroes who can confront the forces of evil. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes (one of the classes is still unknown), players will acquire powerful items, spells and abilities as they explore both new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen.
Another improvement is that the Blizzard Battle.net used for multi-player which was developed for Starcraft 2 will also be used in Diablo III besides the single-player option.
The gameplay will be similar to Diablo II, but the new game will offer a vast and captivating experience because of its new 3D engine, which includes a destructible environment, Havok Physics and lots of innovative functions.
So will Diablo III pass its predecessor’s success? Gamers are all waiting to find out.
