Dragon Age II has been out for quite some time new and it seems like the more players interact with it the more its popularity keeps to an ascending path.

There’s no doubt that BioWare developed yet another great game as a sequel to its first such conquest but if you haven’t gotten your copy of Dragon Age II you can end up feeling a bit left out.

Sadly the fact that this popularity phenomenon is on means that here we are 3 months from launch and a Steam download for Dragon Age II is still at a relatively high price of 49.99 euros.

The point is that if you want to grab one of the downloads you’re still going to have pay what’s the premium price for Dragon Age II.

I for one, am the sort of gamer who prefers lower cost for new purchases. It isn’t for everybody but if you can wait out for about three or four months I’d estimate you’ll get the same download for 60% of what Dragon Age II is now, maybe less.

It doesn’t sound like much of a difference but the “excess” costs you avoid against buying and downloading Dragon Age II now can be important. It could, for example, mean that you can get something like the Dragon Age: Origins Awakening pack without any extra expense in the long run.

Going for this sort of download strategy could also help your craving of Dragon Age II, you get to play the first installment, which is still great, while waiting for the new one.

In fact that’s what I want to recommend. Get the Origins DLC expansion, keep playing it for a few months while pricing on the Dragon Age II drops and then buy that.

A quick word out for to those of you looking for “alternative” Dragon Age II download suggestions such as torrents and shared materials: Sorry to disappoint but that’s not the sort of downloads I or my editor encourage.
