By Originally on Nintendo DS, Scribblenauts was ported to the iOS platform as Scribblenauts Remix, being a success and an ideal game for smartphones. The puzzles in the game can be solved by creating objects, which you type from the virtual keyboard, thus limiting the extent to which you can play the game to your creativity.
Scribblenauts Remix 1.3 includes a combination of levels recreated from the original Scribblenauts, Super Scribblenauts, and some especially designed for the iOS system. With a total of 70 levels, as of the latest update, the game has a great replay value as the puzzles from each levels can be solved in multiple ways, depending on what you can think about creating.
After you download Scribblenauts Remix, you will be introduced to some tutorial levels which will help you get acquainted with the game, unless you played the original versions. You start up with some simple tasks, such as getting a haircut, but these are just for learning purposes. The later levels of Scribblenaut Remix will put you up against some more difficult puzzles.
While you can create nuclear missiles or robot hippopotamuses at any step, these items will not help you solve each puzzle in Scribblenauts Remix 1.3. However, if you are at a loss of words, or you just can’t figure out you have to create a ‘giant hungry rainbow beaver’, you can fortunately mess up with Scribblenauts Remix’ dictionary. Therefore, you can try out different solutions just by browsing objects, some of which might turn out to be more cool or interesting than whatever you could have thought about.
Trial and error is an important gameplay element in Scribblenauts Remix, and while each stage has different solutions, you can always use its dictionary if you realize you cannot think of any of them.
