By Addictive and free, the two qualities that should be found in every game, are the reasons you will immediately love Temple Run. Among the thousands of runner games that are available in iTunes, Temple Run 1.4.1 is one of the few which stands out because of its smooth gameplay, the challenging levels, and the variety of characters, items, and upgrades.
There isn’t much of a story in this game, and I only say this in the best way possible. A complex storyline would probably just distract you from collecting coins or enjoying the scenery from each unique 3D environment in Temple Run 1.4.1. Pretty standard for the treasure hunting genre, the story begins when you steal some sort of treasure, and then the guys that were protecting it start chasing you. And they continue chasing you for countless hours until you decide it’s time to put down Temple Run and let your character take a rest.
However, for as long as you’re playing Temple Run, you’ll fell like the guy or gal you’re playing with couldn’t be possibly controlled in any other way and navigating their path will come as a natural instinct. That’s only because the controls just feel right. Swipe you finger left or right to turn the screen, up to jump over gaps, down to slide and tilt your phone left or right to change lanes. It couldn’t be easier.
Every time you play a new stage in Temple Run 1.4.1, your main objective will be to collect as many coins as you can, besides beating your distance record. Once you have gathered enough coins, you will be able to buy new upgrades and features from the store. Temple Run 1.4.1′s store provides 7 different characters, wallpapers, and perks that will help you unlock all the achievements. Moreover, if you want to advance in the game a lot faster you can spend real money for purchasing in-game coins.
A game like Temple Run has a great replay value. The game is basically endless and can be played over and over again. However, my best bet is that the in-game store and the achievements play a huge a part in keeping you hooked on Temple Run 1.4.1.
