Originally released in 2000 on PC and Mac, Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim found its way on iPad 11 years later. Different from most strategy games, the basic mechanic implemented is not to directly control your units. Each is capable of its own decisions, and your orders can only be influenced by adequate cash rewards.
With the gold earned, your heroes will upgrade their armor and weapons, improving at the same time the skills they posses or learn new abilities. Depending one those, you should make your decisions to influence certain units more than others.
The fantasy setting at the base of Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim introduces you in a fairytale-like world, where you must control your realm by acting in the most responsible way when you find your gold turned into cookies or your economy falls after you ban the trolls from your land.
The iPad version comes with 10 different heroes, and a dozen unique monsters, including a ton of spells. Moreover, you can have the control of over 30 buildings, each with its own upgrades. Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim comes with 8 + 1 bonus scenario missions, playable at 3 different levels of difficulty.
If you ever played the game when it first came out on PC, or you want to try a different type of strategy, Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim could be right up your alley.
